Internet Buddies Come To Life

Today was an interesting day. I met an artist at Creative Souls, named Mary Vogel Lozinak and we discovered we live near each other! She belongs to a group of women artists who meet once a week, about 40 minutes from me, and invited me to join them this week, so I did.

It was such a lovely time with today's group which consisted of about 12 women. Apparently there are 20 women total and the numbers at each meeting vary. As I get to know them better I will share them with you. They do all kinds of fun things together, and I'm excited about participating.

I plan to invite them all to a luncheon here at my home, and show off my new double studio on the third floor..........(pics of that amazing transformation coming soon as the camera is found)

When I got home I opened my mailbox and found a package from my buddy Pidge Molyneaux of http://www.mwmdesigns.etsy.com/
I stood at the mailbox at the end of my driveway, opened the package, and found this lovely bird necklace in it. I put the necklace on and have been wearing it ever since. It matches my earrings and the glasses leash I got from her a few weeks ago.

Victoria, I was so glad to see you this evening at the art show and to see your daughter, Grace, showing her work. This group sounds wonderful--I know how much I like the etsy group I confab with and how energizing it is to know how many other people are making and doing and creating.
Life is good.
