Moving Again!

We are moving for the third time in 16 months! So thankful that we are coming to the end of a very tumultuous time. We are in the process of purchasing a sweet forever house in Phoenixville and settlement date is coming up soon, March 18th.

 The lower level of the house is completely finished and it will be my new studio! I will be using the studio for Sew Bee Mine endeavors, painting and also opening it to the public for various creative workshops including such things as Cloth Doll Making, Creating Mandala Art, Collage Art, etc.

There is a cute little kitchenette in the studio, so we can have food while we work! and a beautiful private yard and deck too boot.

I am so thankful and excited for the new adventure. In the meantime we have to start packing!

Update on Sew Bee Mine

I've been selling things that I've made over the years at The Phoenixville Farmers Market. I took a break last year, and then came up with an idea to offer just things that had to do with food and cooking. So started collecting vintage quilts, embroideries, tablecloths, etc. to make one of a kind aprons, potholders and grocery bags. 

Saturday Oct 3rd, I began doing the actual work for Sew Bee Mine.....so far have gotten a blog up and going, created 9 one of a kind aprons with matching potholders, 5 grocery bags, and 10 potholders!

After a difficult, extremely stressful year, including packing up our entire home and my studio and moving twice in seven months, feeling so happy to have my creative mind back.

I've got a new painting on my easel! and getting ready to launch a new venture, Sew Bee Mine, creating beautiful one of a kind aprons and other sewn goods for cooks/kitchens out of mostly vintage fabrics,  I've been collecting vintage quilts, embroideries, appliqués etc.

Will probably debut at the Phoenixville Farmer's Market sometime before Christmas!

Celebrate 4th of July

Spending this week gutting my studio......really working hard at decluttering the space and clearing my mind. This is in preparation for the next phase of creativity, consisting of writing/illustrating the SewBeeMine patterns and painting acrylic paintings.
