It's been a fabulous summer traveling all around sharing storytelling events hither and yon. This Thursday I will be at La Petite Academy in Exton for a private event of The Capture and Return of Bald Beatrice the Baby Mermaid, and then pretty much done for the summer.
I will be teaching at KenCrest Pottstown and working with the Phoenixville Area Senior Center here and there in the fall, plus some other creative endeavors.
But most attention will be shifting to Sew Bee Mine, making beautiful one of a kind wearable art aprons and other things with vintage and other unique fabrics.
An idea for a seventh storytelling event has been floating around in my brain for the past year or so, and maybe this year it will get done. It's so much work to make enough costumes, props etc for a show, but once they are made, they are made. And then it's just a matter of using them!
I am also completely absorbed with the planning and implementation of Kiwanis Club of Phoenixville's KidsFest which will be taking place on October 6th in Reeves Park Phoenixville.
Life is full and good.
